Monster Hunter Freedom originated from the monster hunter games on the PS2. They have developed on the idea of freedom to roam but that isn't really true. The only way to class it as free roam is you can go anywhere anytime but no, MHF wants you to go on a quest first so that is one of the letdowns. Another letdown is the difficulty. I cannot stress how difficult it is unless you can buy new weapons and armour and also there is no auto lock so you may be left swing your sword around hopelessly. That leads me on to probably the best part of the game, weapons and armour, the shear OTT weapons and armour add up to make this game much more enjoyable so i will give it a great, 8/10
